MIDDLEFIELD, OHIO Thomas G. Caldwell, President and Chief Executive Officer of Middlefield Banc Corp. (Pink Sheets: MBCN), has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), as a state director for Ohio. Caldwell, who has led MBCN since 1995, will serve a term expiring in March 2011.
